Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ClipSocial, a tool for scheduling and publishing your own short-form videos to the social platforms you connect.

1. Who we are

ClipSocial is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME: pending from owner] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using ClipSocial you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

You must give accurate sign-up information, keep your password and two-factor codes safe, and be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including by teammates you invite.

3. Connected platforms

ClipSocial publishes only through each platform's official API, after you sign in on that platform's own page and grant access. Your use of each platform stays subject to that platform's terms:

Platforms can change or withdraw API features. Some features may be limited or unavailable until a platform approves ClipSocial. We will say so in the product.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos, captions and other content you upload. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content only to provide the service, such as publishing it to the platforms you choose at the times you choose. You confirm you own or have permission to post it. We never post anything you haven't scheduled or approved.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use ClipSocial to break the law or any platform's rules; post content you don't have rights to; spam, harass or mislead; artificially inflate views or engagement; scrape platforms; or probe, overload or work around our security. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial (one per account and card; a card is required). When the trial ends your card is charged automatically, and the plan then renews each month or year until cancelled. Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being charged. After a charge you keep access until the end of the paid period; payments are not refunded (pending legal review). Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and refunded by Apple or Google under their terms. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay.

7. Copyright complaints

We respond to notices of claimed infringement as described in our Copyright & takedown policy and may end the accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Preview status and availability

ClipSocial is in preview. Features may change, and posting to some platforms is simulated until platform reviews are complete. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ClipSocial is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for platform actions such as removed posts, rejected uploads or account restrictions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Final wording is pending legal review for [GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE: pending from owner].

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using ClipSocial and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable.
